• Day 3

    26 de outubro de 2024, Nova Zelândia ⋅ 🌬 20 °C

Had a rocking and rolling time last night as the fierce wind buffeted the motorhome!
Another fantastic breakfast to start the day as we all eventually rolled out of bed.
A short trip up to the wee village of Mokau to investigate the pop up market (which took all of 3 minutes) then our choice of beverages for morning tea at the local Cafe.
Took the dogs down to the beach and let them have time off the leads. Marley was determined to entice Diesel to chase her, however, with only mild success. A swim in the water (for the dogs!) rounded off the fun nicely, then back to the camp site for a cuppa.
Rain and thunderstorms were forecast for the afternoon and evening, so we spent time just reading and relaxing in our respective campers.
The evening was spent in Karen and Mark's caravan doing crosswords and enjoying each other's company.
Meanwhile we left both dogs in the motorhome and they were very pleased to see us when we got in. Marley decided that she was going to sleep cuddled up with Diesel- so cute!
