Day 2

After a blustery night in the motorhome, we woke to a glorious sunny day. Miss Emily, emerging from the Luton around 8:30, promptly summoned Marley, who amused himself by chewing on her soft toys—much to Emily’s dismay. As we packed up, Emily’s new “friend” Adam caused more chaos than camaraderie, messing with her camera and announcing Santa wasn’t real. Ever resilient, Emily proudly declared she still believes in Santa—our brave girl!

We enjoyed a hearty breakfast cooked by Grampy in Anzac Bay, where the dogs had a splashy stick-chasing session before heading home. Emily decided to extend her stay with LiLi and Grampy, settling into our guest room for the night. A shopping trip for snacks and treats capped off the afternoon, while Grampy entertained Emily at his shed, giving me time to unpack and prepare dinner.
