Off to Montreux, Switzerland

Day begins with a ride on the Golden Pass Express, a 3.5 hour ride to Montreux from Interlaken. The ride took us through the Alps and NONE of the pictures do this train experience justice. Just remarkable. When we arrived in Montreaux, Lake Geneva greeted us and it is incredibly beautiful. Our hotel, The Royal Plaza, is right on the water and gives us incredible views and easy access down the sidewalk to the Freddy Mercury Statue, The Queen Studio Experience and multiple statues of famous folks who have called this slice of heaven “home”. Igor Stravinsky among others. My wife insisted we WALK to the hotel, despite the luggage, as it was only one mile. We're taking a cab back to the train station in the morning!! 🤐もっと詳しく
