Windsor Castle, Hampton Palace, Abbey Rd

Terrific time with our driver, Dean. We began by driving out to Windsor Castle. It drizzled most of the day but no hard rain at all. It was fun to see the Summer Home for the Queen (although now King Charles apparently is not a fan of mum’s summer place. Later we went to Henry 8’s Hampton Palace, which had multiple lovely gardens as well. We also took a drive through Richmond Park in Richmond Upon the Thames where there 4-5 HERDS of deer. Saw quite a few bucks during the drive. Final stop was the Abbey Road studios and we did the customary cross walk crossing…which is NOT where the actual crossing happened but it’s the tourist locale right next to the Abbey Rd. Studio (and gift shop). Likely will be loading some pics today and then a bunch more tomorrow since the plans tomorrow are much less “historic”.Read more
