Boat Cruise to Benagil Caves

Today we drove about a half hour to Portimao to do a boat tour to the Benagil Caves. Normally the boats go into the caves but due to the rough water we could only see them from the coastline. They were still magnificent to see. We had some good sized swells, which eventually made me feel a little queasy but I managed to keep it all together and still thoroughly enjoyed almost every moment of the ride. Todd, Diane and Erwin were all good and didn’t feel a thing. At one point, we were offered the opportunity to jump into the water. No one on our boat did but a couple of people from the other boat did. Wow….they were brave.
As we were coming back to dock the skies were turning dark. We got in just in time
