    Day 2 Porto Portugal

    8月25日, ポルトガル ⋅ ☀️ 23 °C

We landed on time at noon in Porto. Flight was great. Ann managed to get a decent sleep (1.5 hours), Todd not so much. It was easy to navigate our way from the airport to our hostel, The Lost Inn, by metro. Before checking in we stopped at the Cathedral, the starting point of the Camino, to pick up our pilgrim credentials, we visited the Sao Bento train station, famous for its azul tiles and picked up a Portuguese SIM card.

We have a private room in our hostel. It has a wonderful balcony with a view of the Cathedral. The best part is they have a free Sangria hour at 9pm…now to stay awake that late. Update…the free sangria was not worth staying up late for.
We had a nice dinner overlooking the Douro River before heading back to our room to get organized for a first day on the Camino tomorrow.

旅行者If you’re a fan of the Amazing Race they stopped at that train station to pick up a clue as well as a tile for their next challenge.
