Sunset view over the Medina

After the Medina we return to the hotel for free time. Several of us decide to get some taxis and head for a high point to see the sunset over the Medina. Struggling to flag down some taxis, one of the hotel staff helps us and we end up further down the street next to a roundabout where we eventually get the taxis. Then it's a comical race between the two taxis up to the high point. We get there just after sunset but still get fantastic views.
Afterwards we just walk into the grounds of a five star hotel looking for drinks, but after checking out it's lovely pool, the great terrace and taking a group photo we decide against buying really expensive drinks and promptly leave before we get found out 🤣.
We eventually find taxis much further down the road.Read more
