Udo island

Jeju island at the southern coast of South Korea is one of the world's 7 natural wonders. Udo island is a small island off of the east coast of Jeju. Both islands have a matriarchy system where woman is the head of the house. Many are free divers and can dive up to 20m to harvest clams, shells, and abalones. However, the occupation is declining. We were lucky to see some grandma free divers at Udo! Too small in the pictures but it was really cool to see. Go ladies!!Read more
