Tikal

Most people stop in at Flores to visit the great Mayan site Tikal. This is one of the largest Mayan site discovered. It was estimated that as many as 90,000 Mayans may have lived in this ancient city. The park trails are partially in the jungle. We saw monkeys and coatimundi, and heard the loud and scary sounds of howling monkeys. Oh and did I mention Star Wars was filmed here? A wonderful experience!Weiterlesen
