After a layover in Bangkok and nearly 27 hours of travel, we finally arrived in Chiang Mai. The first thing we did? Took a much-needed nap to recover!

Chiang Mai had some really cool bars and restaurants, some offering board games so we managed to have a beer and play dominos one evening. We explored some of the beautiful temples within the old part of the city before moving to a different part of the city.

We booked an unforgettable ethical elephant sanctuary experience whilst in Chiang Mai. The elephants are pretty scary when you are so close but we were able to make friends with the elephants by feeding them bananas and sugar cane. It was a really fun experience and we ended the day with bamboo river rafting.. we got absolutely soaked!Baca selengkapnya
