First day in Kourouta

Quick note today. England v Netherlands tonight!

Drove from Lefkada (Agios Nikolaos) and met Irini and Christo. They took me to a taverna on Mytika beach. They were very happy to see me and say hi to everyone.

I then drove to Kourouta and met Gianni for a swim. We'll watch the game tonight.

I also met the owner of my accommodation: Gianni, an ex-lawyer from Amaliada. He waved me over when I was coming back from the beach and was interested that I was a lawyer too. We had a conversation and he gave me a bottle of white wine he brewed. Photo.Läs mer
