Lefkada and beach

Today I went to a pebble beach at Nikiana, just south of Lefkada town. It was not busy. A canopy/couch set was €12. I laid my towel beneath a tree and it was just as good.

I then filled up the car: €1.91/L. It is more expensive here than Germany.

I also explored an abandoned castle, built by Ali Pasha. The guy got around.

For dinner: kleftiko, rice and xorta. Was quite nice.

On to Amaliada tomorrow. On the way, I am meeting Irini Triandakostandi and her husband for lunch.Read more
