J16&17 - Irakleio/Héraklion

🇫🇷 On a pris place dans notre avant dernier hôtel, près d’Héraklion, ça annonce la fin de notre road trip. L’hôtel s’appelle Arolithos Traditional Cretan Village et on voit bien à la déco de notre suite qu’on est dans le Crétois typique !
Nous avons visité Héraklion, qui est la capitale de la Crète et qu’on a trouvé plutôt décevant comparé aux villes précédentes.
On a trouvé un restaurant fort sympa où David a pris un gyros bao bun et Amandine un Greek Pinsa (un pain plat cuit au four, meilleur qu’une pizza). 🍕
Le lendemain, nous avons pu visiter la Cathédrale Agios Minas d'Héraklion, qui était malheureusement en travaux à l’intérieur. ⛪️

🇬🇧 We checked into our penultimate hotel, near Heraklion, marking the end of our road trip. The hotel is called Arolithos Traditional Cretan Village, and the décor of our suite clearly shows that we are in a typical Cretan setting!
We visited Heraklion, the capital of Crete, which we found rather disappointing compared to the previous towns.
We found a very nice restaurant where David had a gyros bao bun and Amandine had a Greek pinsa (a flatbread baked in the oven, better than pizza). 🍕
The next day, we were able to visit Agios Minas Cathedral in Heraklion, which was unfortunately undergoing renovation work inside. ⛪️Okumaya devam et
