• Day 27

    January 30 in Peru ⋅ ☁️ 5 °C

The breakfast at this hotel is worse than the breakfast in the hardcore cheap hostel in iquitos 😅 but it was nice to get something to eat and a coffee anyways. Eike had a tattoo appointment at 11, that got postponed to 12, so at 11:30 we went to get a second breakfast at a coffeeshop where the lady is really kind and loves to talk to us. Its already the second time we have been there. Manana tambien! Muy rico. She knows how to make nice food with the ingredients of bread. After we ate a nice vegetarian sandwich and another doughnut we went to kukis tattoo place.
2 hours later eike got his perfect forever memory of peru! Gracias kuki!! When the tattoo session was done we went around the corner in our hostel. Haha. Perfekt!
We took some rest and watched a movie. Meanwhile the water in our room didnt work for hours. Haha.
At 19.00 we went out for some dinner, because we really needed energie. We only had breakfast twice till then. A lady asked us if we want to go to this fancy reastaurant. We said that is was too expensive and then she showed us a menu for the poor people. Hahahahah. It was the most fancy 3 course dish we ate. Potato salad first, chicken and fries next and for dessert ice cream and una ensalada de frutas. It was really fancy but delicious. We left to get some drinks with kuki, but nina had to get some money first. For some reason her bank card is suddenly not functioning anymore 🤷‍♀️ so eike got some money and we went to kukis other work. It was a tattoo stand at some really fancy hostel, where one bed in a dorm room costs as much as our private hotel room with (shitty) breakfast 😅 we had a good time hanging out with the cuzcokian people. We met a guy who's real first names are Mao Stalin 🤭 he is a really kind person. We also met mike, another peruvian guy from lima who loves dinosaurs like eike. He has also a megalodon tooth around his neck. Eike licked it immediatly. He also told us the places to be in bolivia for the dinosaur stuff! After drinking a bit too much (nina is getting her forever peru memory tomorrow, and kuki has to work tomorrow to give nina her forever memory), we all walked home together. Kuki told us on the way back some more inka history of cusco... so to say fuck the spanish colonist people back in time. The churches in cusco were build on top of the inka temples. So everybody should forget about their beliefs and switch to christianity. Immagine! Under the churches on the pics you can see, are temples everywhere. Catacombes!
We had a really nice and unforgettable evening again, see you tomorrow!
