Otways to Melbourne

Our last day on the road in Australia took us into the Otways rainforest—gravel roads, fallen limbs, and a bit of nervous driving after recent flooding, but it was worth it. We wandered through towering redwoods beside a creek, then hiked through lush rainforest to Triplet Falls, surrounded by birdsong and giant tree ferns that felt straight out of Jurassic Park. After returning the car in Melbourne, we stretched our legs in Fitzroy Gardens and ended the day with a delicious, seasonal dinner at Farmers Daughter.
