My impression of the people here - healthier than the desert people although they still have their health issues. They seem happier too, known for their smiles.
It is supposed to be a dry community but you can buy a limited amount of mid strength beer cans from the Club. You do have to get an alcohol permit if you want to bring alcohol to the Island.
It is a pretty island but Flinders is prettier and you can actually swim in the sea on Flinders. I loved the tropical experience but was thankful for the air conditioning.
