Mulga Bore outstation visit

Today is a big drive down to Mulga Bore, it's half way back down to Alice, nearly back down to Plenty Highway. Once past Arlparra , it's the sandy, rocky dirt road again. High 4wd was good to stop slipping around and still travel at a decent speed.

Suzel and I was rostered on to do this today. I was excited as I like a good drive. Suzel has been doing a lot of on-call and getting call out's at night so was a bit tired and asked me to drive 👍👍. Loved it.

It was a bit quiet to start with but ended up giving about 10 flu jabs. This camp is a friendly good community. The 7 kids who go to school here are going on an excursion to Sydney next week.

When we got back to clinic, the Police were there as there was a mental health Evac in progress. They were saying the Mulga Bore was overrun by horses but that they all died at a dry bore. There was 1 horse we saw and the dogs were having a good yap at it.Read more
