HK to KL to MLB to FI

Flying Air Asia from Hong Kong to Melbourne via Kuala Lumpur.
Jacqui and I are both leaving today. I'm flying home to Flinders, Jac is having a few days in Singapore before she goes home. We taxi to the airport together but separate as we are in different departure terminals.

Economy class in an economy airline. I have pre-ordered and paid for meals (and water!) which was a good move as there wasn't enough food for everyone!
I leave HK around 12.30 pm and fly 4 hours to Kuala Lumpur airport. Layover of 3 hours in KL.
Then around 8 hours from KL to Melbourne, getting in around 5.30 am.
I luckily have a spare seat beside me but I still don't get much sleep.

I have about 6 hours before my flight to Flinders at midday so I pay Park Royal for a 3 hour day room. Lovely bed and 2 hours sleep plus shower. Well worth it.
Taxi to Essendon airport then fly home to Steve and dogs.
