We dropped in here today hoping to get a couple of questions answered. The first one was answered. They pulled out the big book you see in the photo and we were able to learn why my GG Grandfather was sent to Bodmin jail that we visited the other day. He and another boy stole some hair. Yes I said hair (This was at a time when wigs were being made). He was sentenced to 14 days and was "orderly" during his time served. I was also able to get a copy of my GGG Hancock Grandparents marriage record.Leggi altro
