Medstead

Two nights here as we had a physio appointment in Winchester for Karen to go to (recovery going very well) - she took the opportunity to catch up with an old school colleague in Alton too. K also managed a natter afternoon with NCT friends in Chandlers Ford whilst I put the world to rights with Mike. So lovely to catch up with everyone - we do have some wonderful friends. We also visited the Winchester Xmas market. It was busy, with coach trips and people pouring in on the Park and Ride bus - but not as busy as it is on a weekend, which is when we have previously visited. The stalls all looked pretty familiar to previous years, but a lovely atmosphere there.
We had to take a photo of the Xmas Marmot in Alton on our way out -much better than the usual Christmas Tree??
I have been wondering when Private Eye would first print something about Stewart, and today on the way up to Ironbridge (our next stop) we were wattsapped with the attached - even Karen gets a mention but not by name - poor research Burley.Read more
