Sicily: Sircusa

📌 We caught an early bus to the east side of the island, probably my favourite city of Sicily. It sat in a beautiful spot by the water, it had great restaurants and it was not as chaotic and busy as Palermo and Catania. The weather continued to be on point, 22-25 degrees was much appreciated compared to <10 in England.

📌 We enjoyed a relaxing few days, wandering around aimlessly, having apertivo wines and spritz and then delicious food. Sicilian food being an island was very fish focused, it was always fresh and tasty but Chloe and I both agreed we preferred mainland Italy food options.Leggi altro
