Roadtrip to Melbourne

📌 We arrived in Brisbane in decent shape after getting a whole row each for sleeping on the way home! Unfortunately it was without luggage so this meant a quick stop at the lost luggage counter.

📌 Mila met us in the car which was a great reunion, before we headed out for a quick pub lunch with Lee, Mick and Kat. Of course a parma was on the menu!

📌 We headed home, made a quick pack of the car before setting off in the early afternoon. We had about a 6 hours drive to Narrabri where we stayed for the night in a little cabin. It was an okay drive but as it got dark it got harder, particularly with the worry of roos! We ended up cruising behind a few trucks.

📌 The next morning we were reminded we were in Aus, the beautiful birds and morning sunrise. Also the fact that even in the middle of nowhere we get good coffee and breaky at 6am!! We drove straight through NSW centre, such a flat and dry way compared to the coast, it was also 47 degrees. 🥵 We made a few stops for snacks and ofcourse a road trip pie!

📌 We made it to crawley road for dinner, chicken wraps on the menu, something Chloe had missed at the Coe household! It felt like we had never left! We crashed out after catching up with everyone very happily in a comfortable bed, our first real sleep in a few days.Leggi altro
