Kilimonjaro 🎵🗻

Probably the highlight of this trip - seeing Kilimanjaro.

We were very lucky to be able to see both Kilimanjaro and Mont Kenya without clouds. Apparently that’s rare.

As Kilimanjaro is a stand alone mountain you really feel the 5 895m high mountain standing above you. Somehow it fills up the entire sky in front of you. And as you drive away from it feels like it’s getting bigger and bigger. Hard to explain.

We watched it from the amazing comfort of a camp where we had a private chef preparing amazing food.

The road there was a bit ‘cursed’ as on the way there we had a popped tire in the Matatu (their collective bus you grand on the side of roads) and a punctured tires on the way back which meant we almost missed our train.Read more
