Newquay to Holywell Bay

Soo Fistral Beach is longer than it appears! A hot day, the soft sand and a full backpack don’t make it any easier. We walked up to Pentire Head where we came across the lovely Lewinnick Lodge. They were so welcoming, filling up our water bottles even adding cucumber. Onwards to The River Gunnel where we were able to cross via the footbridge at Fernpit Cafe. Past Holly Joke beach finally reaching the sand dunes of Holywell Bay.
After a drink in the Holywell Beach Bar we headed into the dunes for what was to be a cold nights camp. Well worth it as sunset was glorious. Oh & no blisters on my feet but managed to get one on my calf. Can only think it was from a plant! Another reason the wear trousers!Читать далее
