Day 11 Porthscatho - Portloe

A day of food! Pan au chocolate & coffee for breakfast - 10am Greek yogurt with a sprinkling of 3 day old flapjack - Lobster lunch with a whole meal veggie pastie on the side & pizza for dinner. Pastie 3/5
Achilles tendon playing up, 8 out of 10. Not so bad on a flat pavement but difficult on the narrow ups and downs of the SWCP. Debbie carried on for the remainder of the path, I bailed and went to The Ship Inn in Portloe. Now to find a way to the campsite! Googled busses, next one 7am the following day, taxi 2.5 hour wait. Ended up getting a lift for the 25 min journey from a very kind local, Andy. Debbie arrived a few hours later saying the walk was hard going with lots of the path overgrown with ferns above head height, so restricted viewing.
