Day 11. St Mary's Loch to Innerleithen.

Just after we started we made a small diversion to the ruined Dryhope tower. Built by the local Laird in the 15 hundreds to protect him and his family from marauders.
From there it was a good ,grassy, track over the moors. No "Boggy Bog" according to Shirl. This is better country with lots of sheep. Apart from a light shower it was an overcast bday, good for walking.
Innerleithen is a good 3 kms off the track. Unfortunately on Tarmac.Read more
