Add Fruita, CO to your list if you haven’t been yet- especially if you like mountain biking. For better or for worse- according to the locals- the secret of Fruita is out and it is beginning to draw comparisons to Moab. I’ll reserve judgement on that but it is a really cool town centered around riding….great desert mountain riding. They’ve clearly made a choice as a town to go all in on creating amazing MTB trail and camping (free) complexes…really well done.

If you haven’t seen the Life of Pie film on the Banff tour it’s worth watching. The restaurant/community living room it’s based on is a Fruita fixture. Riding here for a couple days then off toward Moab. Have a great week!Leggi altro
