LEJOG DAY 37 Melrose

A lovely short day today. Our rest day. Misty to start. Delighted to have the company of Nancy and Mavis dog. Both survived the marching on test. Along the Teviot River in woods full of bluebells and wild garlic. Lots of birdsong as the day got sunnier. Back onto Dere street,as straight as ever (a hare rushed away from us)and to St Boswells for tea and cake😊. Delighted with our first tea stop for days. Nancy and Mavis departed and we walked on to Melrose in jigtime. A cider in the sun then back to Nancy’s for R&RWeiterlesen
