We make our way up the every thin corridor that DFAT deems safe in southern Colombia (worth noting that they have no representation in Colombia) to the city of Cali - Colombia’s third largest city. While it has had a chequered past, in the middle of communist FARC territory and home to the infamous Cali cartel, we do not feel any less safe than in many other larger cities we have visited.
