It’s been 10,000kms since we had the Troopy serviced in San Antonio, so we’ve found a place to get it done in Fairbanks (not an easy task - we’ve had great difficulty finding mechanics willing to work on diesels and/or foreign vehicles). The weather continues to warm, and we pass through wildfires on the way north. Fortunately, our timing coincides with the Fairbanks midnight sun festival held on the summer solstice. It’s a nice community event and we enjoy a couple of beers, the basketball competition and the numerous stalls all under bright sunshine well past midnight.Læs mere
