Dubrovnik, Kroatien

We arrive Dubrovnik at 8:00 in the morning. It promises to be a nice day again. First we are looking for accommodation. At the third try we get a very nice apartment with a great view to the old city and its mighty wall arround it. Even our car gets a safe place under a carport. Parking is very expensive here. They charge at least ten € per hour or eighty per night in a garage and 130 € for parking along the road!
Over 320 stairs, it goes down to the old town. Groups of tourists surround the city walking on the city wall. In the city is a dense crowd. We have breakfast in front of a restaurant in a shady small lane and then we look arround in the city and later we return to our rooms. In the evening we have a great dinner next to the old city.

Wir erreichen Dubrovnik um 8:00 Uhr morgens. Es verspricht wieder ein schöner Tag zu werden. Zuerst suchen wir eine Unterkunft. Beim dritten Versuch bekommen wir ein sehr schönes Apartment mit tollem Blick auf die Altstadt und die mächtige Stadtmauer. Sogar unser Auto findet einen sicheren Platz unter einem Carport. Parken ist hier sehr teuer. Mindestens zehn Euro pro Stunde oder achtzig Euro pro Nacht in einer Garage und 130 Euro für das Parken am Straßenrand!

Über 320 Stufen geht es hinunter in die Altstadt. Touristengruppen umrunden die Stadt und spazieren auf der Stadtmauer. In der Stadt herrscht dichtes Gedränge. Wir frühstücken vor einem Restaurant in einer schattigen Gasse, schauen uns dann die Stadt an und kehren später in unsere Zimmer zurück.
