Sagres to Aljezur!

Today was a beautiful ride along the coast between Sagres and Aljezur. We found that nearly the entire region we biked today was in fact some of the best! We saw many backpackers walking a trail that connects Lisbon to Faro along the coast and we shared many of those dirt paths with them. We arrived in Aljezur in the early afternoon and got settled down. Its a cute town nestled into the hill side with an old fort looming above. We'll take a rest day here and let our legs regenerate. It turns out there is ample food, music and markets to be observed! A great place to lay low.Read more
