Les 2 Alpes

Over night 15cm of fresh powder arrived above 2200m so we walked in the morning through the village of La Grave towards the téléphérique. However, there was already a long queue of freeriders waiting for the gondola to open. Due to strong winds in the upper section it was unsure if they would operate the gondola the whole day. Therefore we decided to pick up the car and ride to Les 2 Alpes, the ski resort in which I spent most of my skiing days back in 2013 when I was living in Grenoble. In 2 Alpes mainly all lifts were operated and we had plenty of first track runs off Piste below the glacier. Even if 15cm was not the big dump it still offered a lot of fun runs. The end of the skiing day we spent at the famous Panobar to say goodbye to France and to a great skiing trip in the French Hautes Alpes.Read more
