Chanaleilles

I wish I was a little more bold. I took a detour to get coffee in the morning. The coffee was fine, but the café was really more of a bar. So no food. They did have a little épicerie (about the size of a small closet) attached to the bar so I got a banana to have with my coffee.

The reason I wish I was more bold was that there was a gentleman who ran the bar. He was quite stolid. One of his customers arrived, I would guess him to be about 5‘6“ and about 130 pounds. He had the face of the French farmer. Every line in his face recorded the days he had worked under the sun. I would’ve enjoyed getting to know him and hear his story. But my French is poor, and my courage lacking, and so I will walk on.Læs mere
