Wooramel River Retreat Homestead

Arrived at Wooramel Homestead after a 5 hour drive, just as the sun was going down. Jumped into bathers and raced to the thermal pools where we caught the last rays of sunshine shining on our faces as we soaked in the gloriously warm water with a glass of Prosecco in hand - paradise for me! This working station of 356000 acres was a real highlight - our accommodation was great, the beautiful river bed had large pools of water in it and was lined with large gum trees. The real highlight though were the thermal pools filled with the high mineral content artesian waters of 33 degrees. We spent all evening soaking and also returned to watch the sunrise the following morning.Leggi altro
