Day 3 GTA ITALY 🇮🇹

Started the day with breakfast at Refugio Margaroli, feeling relieved the overnight rain had cleared. The hike started alongside the lake and gently climbed through stunning mountain views onto our mountain pass for the day. As we gained altitude the going got a lot tougher with loose scree slopes, snow crossings and rock and boulder climbing with much the same on the other side of the pass.
As we decended into the Alpa Devero Valley the rain started with thunder and lightning. We were both glad to get to our B&B for the night at Alpe Devero with a lovely room and bathroom of our own.Read more
