Day 4

An action packed, totally spectacular and exhausting day.
We saw wild Ibex, a beautiful snake (venomous viper), we had 2 wild hail storms as we approached high mountain passes (we just had to ride it out on the small track with a massive drop below), electrical storms, crazy detours across large boulders on rockfall and more snow crossings.
We rolled in to the Rifugio just before 6pm and had a lovely evening chatting to the staff and the 2 other guests.Read more
