Wow I think the last time I climbed so many steps was when I visited the treasury in Petra, and believe it or not it is hotter in Cyprus than when I visited petra!

That aside what a fairy tale setting this is - aparrently it inspired Walt Disney for his snow white setting.

Absolutely gorgeous, three differing castles in one but I have to wonder about having royal apartments over 700 metres up a rocky route that even a mountain goat would struggle with.

It really does make you wonder at the fitness and agility of those that built this into the mountain - even more so when you visit the stable how on earth people managed to get things that high up a mountain. Is beyond belief!Read more
