    Weve arrived

    Well only an hour late landing at split , strait into waiting transfer and a 20 minute trip to the appartment.
    A lovely place, overlooking the sea, restaurants nearby, local shop and it sells zero cider and beer so all in all cracking.
    It's 18:15 UK time and I'm melting, now sat on veranda and going to watch the euro final, then bed and wake up when I wake up lol    Baca lagi

    Day 3 (7)

    Slept like a log last night, what to do today ? Well I took a stroll looking for breakfast and ended up having an iced raspberry tea then slow walk to the beach for an absolutely lovely breakfast.
    Came back to the apartment and our host had barbecued some fish for lunch, really nice surprise and so tasty.aparrently it's called a locker fish.    Baca lagi

    Day 4

    Well caught the water taxi to trogir old town and had a wander round, got water taxi back to Okrug gornje and walked up hill to pub.
    Paper in pub saying that the water temperature of the sea is now 30° as there's no wind to help cool it down 🥴

    Just got back to the apartment and our host has left some more goodies, cheese slices and they taste delicious 😋    Baca lagi

    Day 5

    Well I got up with best intentions of just going to the beach and having a lazy day, well how wrong was I , stopped at top of hill and had a raspberry iced tea, then trundled down to the beach...just as the trogir ferry was arriving, so what the hell caught it to trogir, then against my better judgement I decided to get a bus to split - what a manic place this is. Went to the Diocletian's Palace , wow fantastic place, even in this heat it's a fantastic place to stroll round, needless to say I got lost in the little alleys, anyhow I'm worn out now, sat at the harbour and think I will get the ferry back to trogir in a bit 😎Baca lagi

    Well I've been to the beach every day but not gone in, instead I've taken a water taxi and had a ramble but today I am determined to get wet lol.
    Let's see how things pan out, I'm walking around 5 miles a day and in this heat I reckon it's enough for me 😰Baca lagi

    Really hot last night, ended up getting up and sleeping on the balcony as it was so warm.
    Think today is a trip round trogir and a better look at the market 😎
    And just before I set off...a thunderstorm ! But it was needed I think, anyhow all over so off on my travels 😎Baca lagi

    Day 8

    Well it's Sunday, no trip to play snooker so I'm going to rest until lunchtime. I've just had to put a video of the balcony accompaniment from dawn to dusk, such a lovely tune ...not .

    Well went to the beach and can't believe how salty the sea was, really warm and a little choppy but really nice, on way back up the hill stopped for a meal, chicken in a gorgonzola sauce, absolutely scrumptious.Baca lagi

    Day 11

    Well it's nearly time to go home, one last dip and lunch by the sea and the really clear blue warm water. It's another scorcher already, I think I will miss the heat, good weather and totally relaxing atmosphere. It's been a perfect place to recuperate, I've been doing 6k a day on average and it's certainly not flat so it must have done me some good.
    Anyhow mypenguins has just posted to me that my next trip is only 50 days away so that's something else to look forward to 😎😎    Baca lagi
