Day 5

What a fantastic day. Picked up by Robert at 7am - stunning views on way down to Squamish for White Water Rafting experience.
There were 16 in our group plus Rob and Ted in their kayaks. All suited and booted in rubber including very fetching booties with life jackets and helmets to put in when there.
Very bumpy journey in an old yellow school bus!
Very scary health and safety talk ending with what to do if capsized! There were 8 in each raft - ours included Michael, Martin, Tracey and Chris plus Ted's family. Our helmsman was Will - he did most of the work!
We went down 20 kms of river in total - several sections of rapids. Stunning scenery all the way down with mountains in the background.
Some of us went for a swim - mine helped by my brother pushing me in! The water was freezing but refreshing.
