8. Wells Gray Provincial Park (Part 1)

Left Cache Creek passing grass-/farmland - a not so spectacular landscape. However met my first bald eagle (no photo) 🦅 during my drive. In Kamloops, I got a little nervous as this city lays in the wildfire area around Kelowna. There is a total accomondation ban for traveller, but no signs, no roads closed or any sights of the near fire, although I passed buried forests. Arriving in Clearwater, smoke was a little better and it started to rain, too. Visited the Wells Gray NP with stopps at the Spahat and Dawson Falls. View from the Shadden Lookout would have been amazing - without smoke 😂 Met another bear and checked in at the Cedar Haven Resort, where I will have my own tent for the next days.Leer más
