7. Budapest (Part 2)

Rainy day and first time on my trip, that the temperatures were under 30° for the whole day.
Started at the "Heldenplatz", a monument dedicated for all the people who fought for a free Hungary. Sadly, the monument was being renovated.
So I continued with the Vajdahunyad vára, a beautiful small castle situated in a parc.

As the rain was not so heavy and I wasn't motivated to visit a museum, I spent a lot of the day at the Budapest Zoo.

Finally, I visited the beautiful St. Stephans basilica with a beautiful view from its terrace.Read more
