Again awake at dawn!

Had a lovely breakfast again on our like dinning area under our treehouse!

Then went dropped off some laundry, went to starbucks(!), just to use the wifi!

Shorter scooter ride today down to Sanur. Did not seem as stressful as yesterday!

Sanur was as the book described, not that interesting (in fact the book calls it 'snore'), quite touristy. The beach was a bit dirty and there was quite a lot of seaweed in the water. But, here the water was really warm, think probably because a reef just out a bit from the shore, so water was shallow.

Rented some expensive sun loungers for the afternoon after lunch.

Weather was good again today but few clouds every now and then. Which I quite liked!

Seems to be some type of festival on today as lots of 'offerings' brought down onto the beach (baskets full of petals/foods).

Went back relatively early as quite tired! Had a early dinner next to the river (entertained by the unreligious cat-see picture!) and then played cards back at our treehouse- I'm winning 3 games to one!

Whilst having dinner there was a procession down the Main Street. All the people were wearing typical Balinese dress. And glockenspiels were back again.

Also just realised that we have a miniature glockenspiel at our treehouse- Ben gots good at a very Balinese sounding song-it's quite repetitive!Læs mere
