Jim Jim Falls

We arrive in good time (not too hot yet) after driving in on the 4wd track. Norma, Alison and I head to the toilet block to get changed into our bathers, then we go back to the vehicle where Ronnie and Roger got changed, and we prepare ourselves for the walk in to the Falls. Unfortunately Alison only has thongs to wear on her feet - this proves to be very hard work for her with the rugged terrain (rock scrambling) along the tracks. Once we get to the 'plunge pool' (we didn't work out how to get into the 'beach pool') we're very happy to get in the water - sharing this pool with friendly little fish. Some nice sized Black bream I see as well. Now do the 'hard' trek back to our vehicle (Gary and Learne's Landcruiser), Alison wears Ronnies's sandals on the way back, Ronnie manages in bare feet! Next driving back to Jabiru to meet Gary when he finishes work. Turns out that when we meet up with Gary (just after 2pm), he ends up towing the boat back behind his truck, Norma travels back with him to keep him company.もっと詳しく
