WA Border & Quarantine

Arrive in WA, so stop and take our photos. There is a toilet block provided, so we drive over and make use of these facilities before heading to the expected quarantine check. Naturally as it is manned and operating 24hrs it is professional and stream lined. 3 staff that we could see, 1 assigned to us - asks questions, we answer, then checks in our ute and caravan - fridges and pantry areas inspected. No hassles, think our inspector took us at face value - so very preliminary check over.
We had 2 pieces of firewood 'confiscated' due to still having bark on them.
Onwards we go into WA - notice the time change! Our time has just gone back an hour and a half ie from 12noon to 10.30am.Read more
