Purnululu National Park WA

Going to do the 53km gravel 4wd road into the park's information centre. Then go from there to Piccaninny to do the Cathedral Gorge walk as suggested in my book 'Top Walks in Australia by Melanie Ball'. This book a gift to me from Robert and Stacy - makes me happy using it! Roger drives us in, I do the drive on the way back out. We have our lunch once we arrive at Piccaninny - there are sheltered tables to use. Roger has cold mince pasta, I have some cold silverside and an apple.
We are lucky with the weather today - normally at this time of year it's too warm at this time of the day (midday by the time we start the walk) - today is overcast and mild.
Enjoy this walk with Rog (he's good to walk with 🥰) and the scenery is stunning. Such a different landscape. Walk takes us about an hour and a half. Czytaj więcej
