• Oyster Stacks Beach

Arrive here to go snorkling - before the 12.20pm cut off time. This beach is tide dependent- on when best to snorkel. You need to come at high tide so you can swim above the coral.
We have made it in time and once we get in the water - a bit tricky as you have to navigate over rocks - it is just fantastic!
I am getting more comfortable with my snorkel gear (in fact I wish I had flippers on today) and this spot is great for beginners like me. The marine life here is incredible- as soon as I put my face with mask under the water I'm seeing fish of all kinds. Just don't know my fish well enough to say what they are - but boy there is an array of all shapes, sizes and colour 😍 Rog and I spend a good 30 minutes in the water having the best time marvelling at all the sights in amongst the coral. I can see why people have small underwater cameras with them.
