Arrive here to find that to enter into Monkey Mia we have to pay an entry fee that covers the Dolphin Experience. Rog and I thought we wouldn't worry about that, we'd just look around - that's not how it works, to proceed in we need to pay anyway. Phew, thankfully it's only $15 each for a 'day pass', so in we go! Turns out our timing is perfect to see the 2nd and 3rd (out of 3) Dolphin Experiences held for the morning. Glad we did get to see the dolphins - they do a great presentation explaining about the dolphins and the reasons they run the program the way they do (care for the dolphins). Our nice surprise is that we catch up with Georgina, Andrew and their dog Daisy here - we haven't bumped into them since Katherine. Enjoy a catch up chat - find out they're staying in Denham too, at the Shark Bay Holiday Park. Make plans to meet up again before we leave for Geraldton later in the week. Roger and I go do the walk here at Monkey Mia - lovely one that includes the beautiful coast. After this we check out the shops. I make a couple of small purchases - continue my hatpin collection, and get a waterproof pouch for my mobile. We're now ready to leave and explore the coast on the way back to Denham.Read more
