• High Court of Australia Canberra

    April 30 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 12 °C

Takes us a while to find a park this morning - we we're trying to find some at the Art Gallery carpark but that didn't work (couldn't use the underground parking as the ute too high with rooftop tent on) - eventually park close to where we did yesterday. As we walk towards the Art Gallery, we come to the waters edge where there is 'The Jetty' cafe, so Roger gets a coffee and I have a loo break. We discover the High Court is on our way to the NGA so we come here first. Security checked on entering, we have to have our metal water bottles and my bag (carrying my water and rain coat - too large) put into storage lockers (no charge) before we can proceed. Once that taken care of, we are taken on an informal tour by Denish, then free to wander about ourselves. Good to be reminded how important our Australian Constitution is for the governing of our country.
We leave here - now going for the Gallery.
