    National Gallery of Australia

    April 30 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 14 °C

Arrive here, and again it's recommended that we put our waterbottles and my bag in a storage locker. We find the lockers (free to use) and do this. Now enjoy the next hour or so - wandering through the gallery. Large spaces - easy to miss sections if you're not careful. Lots of interesting art works, great to see (or be confronted by). Beauty definitely in the eye of the beholder (though I'm sure alot isn't for beauty - it's for expression) - as there's nothing I would have in my home (no room!).
We're getting hungry by the time we finish, so we collect our gear from the lockers and walk back to the ute to have our lunch. Cheese and vegemite sandwiches and apples (Anzac biscuits for Roger). We'll go look at the Portrait Gallery next.
